Bull Rider Standings

The Summer Buckle Series runs from the first Saturday in May through the end of October. During the regular season, all bull riders receive a score of up to 100 points for each eight second ride they successfully complete. This score is combined with the 50 points earned by each rider every week they compete in the bull riding. Points will accumulate during the season and a series belt buckle will be awarded to the Champion and Reserve winners with the highest scores in both the Novice and Jackpot Divisions. Each week the top scoring riders in each division split cash jackpots that are determined by entry fees collected and the number of riders competing.

A Calf Riding Buckle Series has been added to the Rodeo program. The Senior Division riders will receive 50 points each week they compete plus the score awarded by the judges for a qualified 6 second ride. The rider with the high point score at the end of the season will be awarded a belt buckle by Gist Silversmiths. Junior division calf riders will also be competing for a championship buckle. While riding the junior division they receive 25 points for competing plus the rider with the highest score for a 6 second ride or remains on the bull for the longest period of time will receive 50 points for winning the weekly contest.
